Coney Island Mermaids
(Brooklyn, New York) Coney island’s historic Astroland is slighted to close for good after this season after Thor investments decided against going another year.
“I put my tolken in the Zoltar, squeezed with superhero strength, and lo and behold, again for fortune came up as the chosen one to fight evil, so I decided against closing this infectious breeding ground of evil.” Said owner, Thor of the Thundergods.
Thor is one of many gods that fights for good battling enemies such as Dr. doom, evil mermaids, and Coney island’s own infamous “freak.” Freak is especially crafty as his primary skill is to dodge paintballs, insults, and bolts of lightning. “It should be a circus trying to get him out of the his sunken rot pit!” says 2006 hot dog champion, Joey Crestnut.
“I just hope he puts up more of a fight than Circus Amok’s bearded lady, talking about a tail between her legs, that biddy gave up and i always love a good challenge.”
